Musselburgh Baptist Church

Church Seating

Musselburgh Baptist Church in Dunedin is more than a place of worship - it's a thriving community hub hosting families, youth programmes, and Christians Against Poverty (CAP) services. The congregation was ready for modern, comfortable seating that would serve their growing community for decades. They chose Alloyfold to provide 180 Church Chairs in Navy fabric with Silvervein frames, plus a Church Chair trolley for flexible space reconfiguration.

We understood that this wasn't just a purchase - it was a congregational decision requiring time, input, and confidence. From their initial enquiry in 2023 through to their June 2025 vote, we supported every step. We sent fabric swatches directly to the church administrator's home and provided sample church chairs the congregation could test for weeks before making their decision.

When they borrowed a 9-year-old chair from another local church for comparison, we welcomed the opportunity to demonstrate the longevity built into every chair we make. Our church chairs feature cold-cured foam that's dense and water-resistant, reinforced double-stitched seams, secure T-nut screws, robust steel frames, and quality powder coating technology. We back every chair with industry-leading warranties: 25 years on frames, 15 years on foam, and 5 years on fabric.

The church committee felt confident in their choice because of three key factors: exceptional product quality that would serve their community for generations, a decision-making process that actually worked for their committee structure, and shared values with a social enterprise that truly understands church needs. Throughout production and delivery, our Customer Success team kept the church informed every step of the way - no surprises, just clear communication.

This is what Alloyfold does best. When Musselburgh Baptist Church invested in their new seating, they didn't just buy chairs - they partnered with an organisation that shares their mission of community transformation. All our profits support Pathway Trust's work helping people make fresh starts through accommodation, employment, and reintegration services. Now, 180 stackable, linkable chairs will serve this generous, grace-filled community for the next 15-25 years, supporting their mission to reach out with the love of God to their Dunedin neighbourhood.
