Dunedin Fringe Arts Trust – Te Whare o Rukutia

In 2022, the Dunedin Fringe Arts Trust (DFAT) - the charitable organisation behind the Dunedin Fringe Festival - purchased 120 ABS700 Spec Seats from Alloyfold to equip their year-round venue, Te Whare o Rukutia, in central Dunedin.

Te Whare o Rukutia has since become a key home base for the Dunedin Fringe Festival and other events, providing a dynamic space for theatre, music, and visual arts.

Known for supporting experimental and boundary-pushing work, the venue plays a vital role in nurturing Aotearoa's creative sector.

DFAT selected Alloyfold’s ABS700 seating for its blend of durability, ergonomic comfort, and sleek design.

Featuring a double-rolled steel frame, self-leveling legs, and an inter-bracket linking system, these chairs allow for flexible configuration and quick setup—ideal for the ever-changing needs of a multidisciplinary arts venue.

The chairs were delivered from Alloyfold’s Christchurch warehouse, on time and ready for immediate use.

With a 10-year frame warranty and 2-year upholstery warranty, the ABS700 seating ensures long-term reliability for DFAT’s busy schedule of events.
